For blonde or lightened hair, friction is a big enemy. It helps prevent breakage and keeps the finish bright and silky, especially in dry Highveld winters or in the first weeks after lightening.
How to recreate the silk wrap finish at home
Start with clean, dry hair before bed. If your ends feel dry or rough, warm 2 to 4 drops of Length Oil Drop between your palms and smooth lightly through the mid-lengths and ends, but don’t take it up to the scalp. Next, loosely twist or braid your hair and wrap it with a silk scarf or use our Overnight Silk Wrap. If you forget once or twice, dont stress, just try again the next night.
In the morning, gently unwrap or unbraid your hair. Use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to loosen out any waves or bends.
